Updating the Engines

All packages mentioned on the landing page are available from the following repositories (in both Windows binary and source package form). The repository URL is specified as the repos= argument to install.packages() or update.packages().

For example:  install.packages(repos="http://137.117.194.67:8080/TERR/update/TERR")

Installing the Standard Eclipse Plugin for TERR Remote Submission

To install the TERR engine remote submission feature in Eclipse:

1. From the Eclipse main menu, click Window > Preferences.
2. In the left pane, expand Install/Update, and then select Available Software Sites.
3. Click Add.
4. In the Add Site dialog, for Name, provide a friendly name, and for Location, paste the following URL into the Location text entry:
     http://137.117.194.67:8080/TERR/update/tsss-connector
5. Click OK, and then in the Available Software Sites dialog, click OK to save the change.
6. On the main menu, click Help > Install New Software.
7. In the Install dialog, from the Work with drop-down list, select the plug in.
   Result:  The Connector appears under Name.
8. Select its check box, and then click Next.
9. In the Install Software dialog, click Next, and then click Next again.
10. Review and accept the licenses, and then click Finish.
    Note:  If a Security Warning dialog appears, click OK.
11. In the Software Updates dialog, click Restart Now to restart Eclipse and apply the update.
    Result:  When Eclipse restarts, the Statistics Services view is not shown by default.
12. Click Window > Show View > Other.
13. From the list, select the Statistics Services folder, and from its list, click Statistics Services.

After you have installed the plug-in, you can add your Spotfire Statistics Services service connection. See "Manage packages between Spotfire and Spotfire Statistics Services" in The Guide to Package Management for more information.
